The UNTP website now has a news section. It is the place for release announcements, notes from the working groups, and short articles about how the protocol is being adopted.

What goes here

News is separate from the specification. The specification under Specification is versioned: each release is captured and kept available, so a reader can always see the text exactly as it stood at a given version. News is not versioned. A post is a record of something that happened on a particular date, and it stays as written.

That separation is deliberate. It means a post can be added, or this section can grow, without touching the specification or the way its versions are cut.

Following along

Posts are available as a feed, at /news/rss.xml and /news/atom.xml, for anyone who would rather not check the site.

The other places the project gathers are unchanged: the Slack workspace and the mailing list, both linked in the navigation above.
